The atlas remembers nothing about you and sends nothing to anyone. Here is exactly where some piece of data does turn up.
When you are just browsing
Pages, fonts, maps and drawings all load from esoubytovani.cz and nowhere else. No visitor counter, advertising code or tracking pixel runs here, and we set no cookies.
The server does, technically, need to know where to send a page. The atlas is hosted by Vercel Inc., based in the USA, which records the IP address, time, page address and browser type of each request – to deliver the page and to fend off attacks. We do not use these records for anything else. Vercel explains the details in its Privacy Policy.
When you press “Save”
Your list of saved places is written to your browser’s storage and stays there. It never reaches our server and we cannot see it. What exactly is stored, and how to delete it, is on the Cookies and storage page.
Your Stay Finder answers, the map layers you switch on and the weekend plan you pick are kept only in the page address. Only the person you send the link to will see them.
When you write to us
A message to atlas@esoubytovani.cz and your address are used only to reply and, if needed, to fix the page it is about. We will not add you to any list or newsletter – we do not have one.
What you are entitled to
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you can ask what data about you we process, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing and object to it. If you feel we are handling it badly, you can turn to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (uoou.gov.cz).
